Understand what the offer describes
ROX 01 is presented by the manufacturer as a range-extended electric vehicle. It should not be described to a customer as a battery-only model. Ask for the exact version, battery identification and relevant service information. An enquiry should cover charging needs as well as the range extender, especially where the buyer expects frequent short journeys and occasional longer trips.
Identify the battery instead of assuming it
The China configuration reviewed on 9 September 2026 lists 44.5 kWh for standard-range versions and 58.4 kWh for long-range versions. These are manufacturer specification figures, not a measure of a used battery’s present condition. Establish the specification of the actual candidate using its records rather than assigning a single capacity to every model year. Keep the source document with the offer and distinguish original specification from present battery condition. If an advertised number is unclear, ask what it measures and which version it describes before comparing it with another car.
Read range figures with their conditions
Electric range and combined range answer different questions. Test-cycle figures also do not promise a customer’s journey distance. When comparing quoted numbers, record the cycle, version and whether fuel and battery energy are both included. Discuss the buyer’s route, charging access and operating pattern separately. Do not convert a manufacturer headline into a guaranteed distance for an individual used vehicle.
Ask for diagnostic context
A battery-health statement should identify the assessment method, date and vehicle. Request available diagnostic results and clarification of warnings or incomplete checks. A dashboard range estimate or full-charge photograph cannot replace a condition assessment. Qualified personnel should examine high-voltage concerns. Include the range extender in the review
Ask for available service records, relevant inspection findings and an explanation of any engine-related warnings. Agree the scope of operational checks with a competent inspector instead of relying on a brief start-up clip. A buyer who mainly plans to charge still needs a maintained range extender. Clarify who can provide suitable service at the destination through the ownership support checklist.
Connect evidence to everyday charging
Identify the actual charging hardware and the intended destination equipment before deciding whether the candidate meets the customer’s routine. Keep charging compatibility separate from battery size or advertised range. The charging guide sets out the information to request. The resulting offer should list confirmed specification, completed checks and unresolved questions so a low vehicle price does not conceal an unsuitable ownership arrangement.
