Give the enquiry a defined vehicle target
Identify ROX 01, required seat count, accepted production years and any documented battery-version preference. Choose new, used or open to both. If a feature is essential, name it instead of relying solely on a translated trim label. The identification guide explains the records needed when an actual candidate is proposed. A general brief should remain distinct from a confirmed individual vehicle offer.
Explain destination and quantity
State the destination country and intended port or delivery point, along with approximate quantity and timing. Explain whether cars can differ in colour or version and whether a mixed new-and-used proposal is acceptable. Destination details help frame the discussion but do not by themselves establish import eligibility. Have relevant local requirements checked by the appropriate parties before treating a candidate as suitable for registration.
Define what the budget covers
Identify currency and whether the budget concerns the vehicle alone or includes preparation, equipment and a wider delivery scope. Ask for inclusions, exclusions and the agreed delivery responsibility in writing. Avoid comparing a bare vehicle figure with another offer that includes additional services. If a cost remains an estimate, retain that status and ask which information is needed to turn it into a confirmed item.
Attach acceptance priorities
Include the required inspection evidence, seat layout and essential charging or software functions. For a used car, ask how unresolved findings and agreed repairs will be handled. The new-versus-used guide separates status requirements from history and condition. Keep a short list of non-negotiable items so the sourcing discussion can consider alternatives without unintentionally weakening what the final customer requires.
Review the actual commercial response
Check that a proposed offer identifies the candidate or clearly states that sourcing is still in progress. Ask who the contracting party is and which written terms govern payment, preparation and delivery. Verify transaction details through established channels before committing. A form submission does not reserve stock or create an agreement. Resolve mismatched vehicle descriptions and incomplete scope before using the offer as a basis for your own customer quotation.
Prepare for changes and handover
Record the validity of the offer and how substitutions or changed requirements will be addressed. Request revised documentation when material details change. Use the handover checklist to carry the accepted specification, inspection record and accessory list forward. This keeps the final review connected to the same vehicle and agreed scope instead of allowing the purchase to end with only a collection of disconnected messages.
