Match the session to the offered battery version
Request the vehicle identity and relevant charging configuration before comparing a claim. A session on a different ROX 01 can provide context but does not establish the offered car’s present result. Keep source-market and version information with the demonstration instead of assuming the shared model name makes every record interchangeable.
The charging-compatibility guide establishes the vehicle, connector, equipment and destination arrangement. A successful source-location test is not automatic proof of the customer’s intended setup. If an adapter or other accessory is involved, identify it and assess that combination through an appropriate provider before relying on the session.
Define what 20–80% actually describes
Record the displayed starting and finishing state of charge and the source of the timing. A 20–80% observation should not be compared directly with a shorter middle interval or a near-full top-up as though each measures the same task. The relevant charging behaviour can differ over different parts of a visit.
Ask whether the reported minutes begin at arrival, connection, authorisation or energy transfer. That distinction matters when the customer plans a family stop or an operating schedule. Queueing and setup can remain outside a technical test while still forming part of the practical time required to continue the journey.
Keep energy, power and time distinct
For arithmetic only, 30 kWh supplied in 20 minutes corresponds to an average of 90 kW during that interval. A higher instantaneous peak could appear within the same session without changing that average. This is a calculation example, not a ROX 01 specification or a measured result for any offered vehicle.
Request the relevant session record where available rather than one photograph of the largest number. Keep the measurement point clear: energy reported by charging equipment is not automatically identical to energy retained in the battery. Avoid combining figures from different records to produce a faster-looking time that no single demonstration actually established.
Preserve the operating conditions
Record relevant environmental conditions, the vehicle’s starting state and any limitation reported by the provider. Ask whether the charger shared power, paused or experienced an interruption. A station’s advertised maximum does not establish what the selected vehicle received throughout the visit.
The winter journey guide connects cold-weather planning with replenishment access. Follow applicable operating instructions and let qualified providers interpret unusual results. Do not request improvised heating, cooling or electrical changes to make a sales test resemble a favourable reference gathered in different conditions.
Separate charging observation from battery condition
A successful session demonstrates an observed charging result under recorded conditions; it does not certify a precise remaining battery life. Likewise, a slower visit does not alone establish degradation. Ask for the appropriate condition assessment if the actual vehicle shows a concern that requires more than an ordinary charging demonstration.
Keep warnings and professional findings with the record rather than selecting only the most favourable display. If further work is recommended, identify its scope and required completion evidence. The buyer should not accept a general battery-good description merely because the car reached the requested finishing percentage once.
Turn the session into a usable stop and cost estimate
Add access, likely operational constraints and the customer’s intended departure requirement to the discussion. Do not extrapolate one short peak interval to every future stop. A car mainly charged overnight may have different practical needs from one depending on a small number of public stations along a regular route.
The energy-cost worksheet uses actual or clearly assumed tariffs with the relevant energy record. Keep parking and session charges distinct where applicable. A fast technical result is not necessarily the cheapest or most convenient arrangement, and a charging-time claim should not conceal the customer’s real replenishment requirements.
Specify the evidence required before acceptance
Tell Panda the intended charging setting, accepted versions and whether a documented session is mandatory. Ask for the actual start and finish levels, setup, conditions and result. Keep destination dependencies unconfirmed until the appropriate evidence supports them rather than promising that every public charger will reproduce the demonstration.
Retain the final record with the selected car and update it after relevant repair, accessory changes or substitution. The receiving buyer should understand what was observed and how it relates to the planned use. A defined session is a useful buying record; a single peak-power image or unexplained number of minutes is not.
